COMMENT FOR 2006 GRANT A longtime goal of mine has been to do a suite of original limited-edition screenprints showing views of Mount Hood. This project will depict 12 views of the mountain, one in each month from an appropriate seasonal direction. December is North, March is East, etc., and the other months circle between them. The three phases of the project are: 1- Research of each viewpoint and travel in the field to gather reference imagery, inviting other people to join me here to explore our mountain environment. 2- Producing the screenprints. 3- Exhibiting the prints, along with pictures and stories of the trips. |
